33,683m 2hours 42 mins.

Did have the intention of doing a full marathon, but in the end I decided it wasn't on. Mind you, after 10 days off over Xmas and New Year, followed by 6 days on, then another 7 days off, I guess getting on and doing a marathon straight off was a bit unlikely. At first I had a target of 3:10, then that fell to 3:15. By the time I called it quits, I was on a target of about 3:22 and I couldn't face another 40 minutes. I had to stop more than I wanted, too, because of the dog wanting to go out. =)

Oh, I didn't have anything to eat yet today apart from a bowl of cereal at 8am, so again not really the best preparation.

Still, it brings my total for the week to... um... 33,683m. =)

Great job Chippy, how could you row a whole marathon with just Row Pro. A movie makes the time go by much faster! I'd be totally excited with a time like that! Way to go

Carla

I had hoped to do mine Friday but Ive been fighting a cold all weekend - still had it today, but enough is enough so did the big 'M' anyway and finally broke the 3hr duck: 2:59:38.2

A couple of notes:

Point 1 - Ive seen questions on this forum about which is the toughest event - this is it, bar none! my B-U-T-T-O-C-K-S feel like barbara windsor has been pinching them for three hours!

Point 2 - Like Chippy I also did the FM on RowPro (but I also have SKY TV in garage). Just before halfway I swore I saw "Rob woz ere B4U" carved into the bark on one of the RowPro trees - I thought I was mistaken till I saw him clearly throwing stones from behind a bush!

Point 3 - Sundays Roast dinner will be ready in about 10 mins - who hoo, who hoo hoo!!
