Ready to Row in app, with stroke Rate guide (beta), and average stroke rate displayed Live on each intervals.
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
BW Rowing's season's opener proved very popular with 116 boats launched in May. Congratulations to Sub7 for winning the challenge. FIRT turned out in force with 23 boats on the virtual river.
DLC Gidea Park has the challenge for July with Fitness Matters having the say in August.
A big welcome to Hockley Gym and the Cornish Gig Rowers who launched boats for the first time.

Big 115kg, strong guy. Not so amazing to me. The 28 was not a mistake he thought it was 28. The 1k looks a bit slow given how he had left.paul45 wrote:
It amazes me what some can do on the ergo, on any rest that session he did is mind bending but on 30 sec rest
is just insane. Beyond my thinking that's for sure.
Fair play to anyone who pushes themselves and betters there fitness and goals fast or slow its all about the effort.
Might just include next months ctc as part of an interval session, all good.
Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
No, the PP pyramid contains a 1k in the middle just as well. The only difference is the shorter rest.jackarabit wrote:. . . and minus the k in the middle.joe80 wrote:Michael Brownjohn has communicated the July CTC on behalf of DLC Gidea Park

A certain Simon Matterface of Sub7 seemed VERY excited about his result. In fact so excited that he entered it three times. I think Dougie could delete two of the three results without Simon's honour being called into question? ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
Dougie, how is it possible that an entry for the June challenge is valid when entered on July 2nd? I think these two entries should be removed as it is unfair to enter a score two days after deadline, regardless the site still being open for June entries or not.
To my knowledge an average day on planet earth doesn't last longer than 24 hours...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread
The CTC normally gets switched over at 12:00 midday local on 1st of the month. I did it using my mobile phone while I was out on my bike on Saturday. So I don't know how those late entries got inserted, I didn't do it, so the last four late entries have been removed.Grobi wrote:Dougie, how is it possible that an entry for the June challenge is valid when entered on July 2nd? Congratulations to Sub7 for winning the June challenge and launching eighteen boats, the highest number, on the virtual river.
Welcome TRAIN Manchester and Isenhurst Rowers who are new teams on the board.
Fitness Matters have next month's challenge with Team Oarsome securing the rights for September.
RC Mantova and ESPRIT, as relative newcomers with three months of active participation, may claim the October challenge but must contact me for this to happen.

Hi Daren
I have recently formed a team Fybro-Supporters, and would like to be included in the Cross Team Challenge list if that's ok. I have contacted concept 2 to ask them to include me as a new affiliation but as yet have not heard back and I can't see my team name in the drop down box, any suggestions???
