Hopefully, it shouldn't be too long before you're back to full health as bones heal quickly in the young and fit. Reading some of the earlier postings I guessed you were up North somewhere. I'm glad to be going "home". I was born in Huddersfield, though I grew up in West Bromwich, hence my poor taste in football teams. I have family who still live in Yorkshire. I'm looking forward to spending time up in the Lakes and I also have friends who live in Scotland. I hope to spend time there. I'm sure I'll have the pleasure of meeting you at some stage. Niall, I just read your mail. No, I'm not going to the company you mentioned. It's a company called Cattles which is a FTSE 250 company. Hey Carole, What's the news on your gimpy gam? What a lousy bit of bad luck when your season was going so great. It'll be hard but keep a stiff upper lip and start planning for your recovery and come back! You're such a tough competitor you'll be back with a vengeance as soon as that cast is off, I'm sure. Probably the hardest thing will be for you to channel your energies while you're on sabbatical. Hang in there! Carla PS You didn't reply to my email...did you throw a brick through the monitor?

wanted one skateboard..... Ste and I have a harebrained idea that we can tie my leg with the pot to a skateboard and still row!!!! Carla I replied to you..................... loads of gremlins on here at the moment... Looks like Aus is off will find out deffo tomorrow when see specialist at the fracture clinic.............................................I cant complain at least I havent lost my life like the earthquake area....

In fact Xeno Muller's training DVD has just such an exercise as a training tool. If you don't have slides yet, this might be a good time to buy or borrow a set. Hi Carole, Can you do any rowing on wheels with a fixed seat such as rowbike with the seat locked, or better yet on an <a href='http://www.math.msu.edu/~drachman/cycle/irishmail.html' target='_blank'>Irish Mail</a> ? One of my children cruised around town on the Irish Mail when he broke his leg and had it in a cast. I hope you recover quickly. Byron

Just thought I'd let you know that I have completed the Million Metre Rowing Challenge. Went through the Million Metre mark on the 28th December.
