I passed 5 million meters today!! Yay! I get a long sleeved t-shirt. Good thing because I probably won't make the holiday challenge 200k. I'm at 55k and tomorrow is the half-way. Well I'll make the 100k anyway and still be eligible for the Craftsbury camp draw.

Congratulations on all the PBs everyone!! It gives me lots of motivation to get back into training again.

Happy rowing!

Debra

Oh, just to clarify - that's 5 million lifetime total not season total. It's taken me 4 years to get to 5 million. Hopefully it won't take that long to do the next 5 million.

Way to go Debra!!! Enjoy that shirt!

I didn't realize tomorrow was halfway. My plan says I'm right on schedule but now that makes me nervous!! I'm doing 8334 per day, with this Saturday off and Christmas eve off.

But I can't check my total because for some reason, I can log into the forum but not my own logbook. It's totally frustrating. I don't know why I can't get into it. But I think I'm at about 70K. That's not much farther than you are, you can probably do it.

I'll mail you a surprise if you do it!

Carla

Carla,
I'm really going to try hard to do it. I still have school until the 17th and am swamped with work. After that I can really pile on the meters providing I keep healthy. I've been fighting off a cold or something for a few weeks now.

I like surprises!! That gives me extra motivation to finish the 200k!!

Take care and I sure hope your concert goes great! I'm sure it will!

Debra

Must be a great feeling to hit such a milestone. I'm hoping to get to 5 million (lifetime) by the end of the season (currently on 3.6M).

Hope you manage the 200K Holiday Challenge as I want to know what surprise Carla's got for you

Bernard,

Although I've just about got my nose infront of you right now, I'm not going to get to a Million Metres for the season by the end of today. After my 10K PB yesterday, my old body was too sore to do anything last nigth so I'm a session short. I'm not going to be able to claw that session back today as it's my son's Christmas play this afternoon (he's a camel!). So I'll probably make it to about 994,000 by the end of today.

So it's open to you matey. Leave the finishing line nice and tidy for me tomorrow

Congratulations on the 5 million, Debra, and good luck with the holiday challenge. Yesterday I passed 1.5 million metres (season and lifetime, since I only started in August as you know) and also 100k in the holiday challenge, as well as the 10k PB so it was a good day all round for me.

Well done Daren. 1.5 Million since August is a fantastic achievement and shows great focus and determination. At this rate you're looking at 4-4.5 Million for the season and probably that elusive sub-75Kg weight

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mike!!! I would say I wish I'm as fit as you when I'm 49 but I'd have to say I wish I was as fit as you NOW!!! Keep up the great progress.

Happy birthday, Mike. How are you going to celebrate? Maybe a marathon? Or just a half as it's your birthday.
