Cheers All!!

@Remi - sub1:20 HM..now that would be nice! Need the same average for another 20mins. TBF an average of "just" 1:55.2/500m would give me 1:20:xx and I'd be pretty happy with that!!
@Paul45 - yes first 30mins was fine but by the time I went thru 10K in 37:56 "the hurt" was already coming on

Hi Henry,
I see, you already doing more then average in the rankings. No surprise there.
Would be interesting te see how a workout on the skierg looks like. If you have the time maybe post a youtube.
Do you think the skierg workout can contribute to the erg performance?

My "deadzone" for the HOP is 32 minutes to 10 minutes. It's a killer...

I seldom film myself, don,t like seeing myself, but could ofcourse. Expected to do ok ish soon, less competition in the ski ranks, plus now also in the 50 + cat. Which is both in row and erg a big help.

Over here in Amstelveen we have c2 shop, so you could try, or come along here and try if you are around :D

Don,t think it directly helps erging. The legs/back which do the most work on the rower are not the main movers on the ski.
Thats lats/triceps/core. Legs and back do the recovery. Just the opposite from rowing.

Nice H - "salad days" at the beginning. Ski erg has me interested. Seems like a nice "opposite" to erging.

Cheers, ofcourse not really pb, pbs. Expect to get a good bit faster.

Really different from the rower, no back loading. Only a week in, but my first impression is possitive. A minus could be that you have less people to "spar" with. Haven,t seen them in a gym yet. Picked mine up at a decent discount, after being used a few times a crossfit comps.
Will keep you guys informed

New PB for a season. Has taken me 8 years to get the over 7500m+ a day average while still maintaining a decent pace.

2750Km total in 186:14:41.7 hours or 2:01.9 average pace at easily less than 20 spm. Finally hit the goal of just over 7500+meters a day.
