Wow, Minnie!! Shaun's been left in the dust. You won't hear the patter of little cloven hooves or any bleats for the rest of this season, hahaha.

I have actually hit a bigger problem in that the gym are not too keen on someone hogging one of their two machines, no problem if I am sat on it but if someone wants to jump in they will not stop them and no I can't remove the monitor.
the rower is not the most popular piece of kit but gets used as a warm up (as they describe it) by the weights guys, lot of grunting, lot of chain clatter, 40 seconds max.

The gym seems to have a bit of C2 schizophrenia, can't understand why they don't get used more but won't encourage participation in any of the challenges. Not complaining as it usually means I walk straight on or have a couple of minutes wait at worst.

sadly the apartment I now live in will not accommodate a rower -unless some furniture goes- but my wife might follow it! My last marathon was when I lived in a house with a C2 in the garage.

I think the nonathlon is probably just a glitch, it is run by volunteers and they don't charge so probably just got overlooked, shame it has happened in the final week.

i also row at a gym/health club and there are only three ergs and i'm slow so there is no guarantee i'll have it for all the time that i would need....and....hopefully this isn't tmi...but i don't have a large intestine...so my bathroom breaks are longer than most and can be more often....oh well...i'm still recovering from boston so i'll just play it by ear :}

So you say, Shaun, so you say! We're out of town a couple of days this week ...
... those little cloven hooves could certainly thunder right by a mere mouse.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 4.25.17

Post by Kona2 » April 26th, 2017, 9:25 am

And then there were five...well, including today there are five. Five days of opportunity to finish the Concept2 Erging Season in style. Your style!

When you look back on the erging year, you're probably not going to remember the specific number of meters you have in your meter piggy bank. And you will surely remember some of the Concept2 Challenges - those beastie things that tried to steal your spirit and wear.you.down. You will remember whether you met your personal goal...and you might realize that you met goals that you didn't know that you really had...until there they were - opportunities right in front of you! Naturally we couldn't just LEAVE them there unclaimed! Naturally!

I guess you've heard about our rain. The sun has been peering through now... but I'm not ready to be too trusting just yet... the erg stays on the 2nd floor. According to data from Cassini's last pass, should be hitting the 2mm mark with tomorrow morning's row, then, in honor of Minnie Bond's excellent season, will start on the circumference of the Bond Gap (I forgot Saturn's rings had names). I hear that Cassini has apparently picked up some cloven hoof prints on the Bond Gap. Shaun??

You can do it! You've got FOUR days....and 49K to go....give it a push! Don't leave that many meters on the proverbial table without cashing in!
