I just the FF group/affiliation as well as the 2017 team on the C2 website. I was looking on the forum (still quite new to forums) for an online group and a couple of FF members said some encouraging words when I posted my first thread. Thank you lindsayh and hjs! Not sure of any requirements to be on the team so if there are please let me know.
Purchased the Model E last month and I'm now up to a 20 minute workout which for me translates to approximately 3500-3600m. Looking forward to take part in the CTC in honor of Bob Spenger. He must have passed a few days before I joined. I read up on him through the links listed above - sounded like a great man. I'm definitely going to work up to the 5142m distance in one workout so he continues to motivate - RIP.
Looking forward to logging some meters for the team :D

Welcome Chris that is great - the CTC is a good motivator and presents challenges outside the mainstream and what you might often do so is good fun. No requirements at all just join in and log as you go. The feb challenge still to do for me 10x 90"/30" is a hard one to start with. Best of luck - you will improve heaps this year with regular training.

I'll just try to get my name on there, top5 is a bit too long-term to commit too.
I suspect it will take at least a year of CTC's to get near the bottom.

Ivan, you'll show on the Topp 100 in September i think if you complete every month.

I've been very fortunate with injuries to not have missed one since I started, but now i simply cant miss one, I'll simply have to be dead!!

You are one of 326 people that have put a score in for the CTC and most welcome you are.

Best of luck with that meerkats. On the upside, lots of slow work build/maintain a good aerobic base.

Hi fellow team members.
I have now gone to 41 ctc challenges, it says that we are sorting the March 2917 challenge, if so what is it?

Cheers

Memorial challenge honoring long-time U.S. forum contributor, multiple world record holder in indoor rowing, collegiate crew rower at U.C. Berkeley in the 1940s (narrowly missing a seat in the Bears 8 gold medal boat at Henley in 1948), born Frisco waterman, lifetime student and teacher, and friend to all of us. 5106m single distance references the number of his forum posts.
