Another episode....
There are lots of reasons why postings don't always happen, or don't happen when you thought they might be there, or they are wackier than usual....but this one is even better than the dog ate my homework. As part of my scattered approach to home improvements, had decided to replace the toilet in the basement. A visit to several big box stores said I needed to order this online. The email came in saying it had arrived. Off I went to pick it up. Installation scheduled (not going to try that bit). So. I dragged the box downstairs, and decided I should look and make sure that the color was right and all that. Lots of packing material flying around (dogs thought that was the best ever), and I discover whoa....there's a base, but no tank. Egad. This was last night and install is today at noon. Big box store opened at 6 AM....and during a phone call that was almost like waiting online for IRS, but not quite, finally located the essential element...the tank. Apparently location required many intrastore phone conversations, and folks hopping over all the incoming freight. I get in vehicle, go to big box store...and the tank has disappeared. Fortunately, within the first couple of minutes, I realize that I am at the wrong store.....hahahaha. I laughed all the way to the correct store location. I guess I should have had coffee first....snort.

We've got five more days in this challenge....and we are being hunted down. Not fond of that feeling...and am competitive enough to say so. Let's go Lunies!

The Australia Day long week-end celebrations have unfortunately taken a toll on my ability to hit the erg. This has been factored into my plan however, which includes an attempt at 100,000m straight on Monday to bring up 1 million for the month. And that still leaves Tuesday in case my determination flags; of course, that can't happen now that I have gone public with the intent
The Australian Open this year is a great reminder that it is never too late for a comeback.
Let's go Lunies, Let's go!

I wish
I've never been to a final in person; I've seen a few preliminary matches over the years (but not this one). The outside courts often host spectacular play between the lesser known players.
