Headphones when rowing? Why would you need such things?
Just listen to the sound of the flywheel and the chain

I struggled with wireless ones that only had a cable between each earbud and prefer
this type with a band:
Can't tell you how many sets of cheap headphones I went through at uni due to sweat getting into them on long ergs!

Just got some Plantronics Backbeat Fit wireless headphones. Had been using a JBL portable speaker. I enjoyed the headphones last night since they provide a more consuming experience which may have helped PE. I will be interesting to see how they work on the tough sessions. I wonder if it might get too overwhelming or provide a great distraction! I recall when I lived in ski country I would not even hear the music when on challenging terrain. Anyway, nice pair of headphones and I'd recommend them so far.

That's the one I have and I think they're great. Waterproof as well so the sweat doesn't mess them up. The battery lasts about 8 hours and has a good range.
