Whoop, whoop and what a quick first MILLION! Don't forget to send in for your tee shirt and special pin from Concept2! Congratulations, Andrew, on achieving a ONE million meter erging season! We wish you many, MANY more!
Thanks! I thought tee shirts and pins were only for US and Canadian rowers, but the Australian web site seems to imply a tee shirt could be available. Now that I know there are are real prizes at stake, I'll try harder
More importantly, I might be confused by time zones, but shouldn't Ed's fabulous 50k effort have earned him the invaluable paddle to go with his canoe?
Love the pictures of snow and the igloo! Here it is 27 of our degrees (81 of yours), and will be rising into the nineties later... I row in a garage with no aircon, thank goodness for the C-breeze my sons gave me for Christmas!

Not sure if we really know how cold space is....some say it is - 475 Fahrenheit. I am reminded of this as the thermometer reads - 10 F this AM. Shiver me timbers.
Meanwhile, we have two canoes in the virtual waters of the Moon River...and both canoeists have earned their paddles. Talk about being on the edge of the bell curve. There will be a small tsunami as several other canoes hit the water later today (with 4 teammates closing in on 100 K...it's going to happen). In fact, it could happen before I even finish this posting given that I am MST and others are EST. Onwards!
We're still in 7th overall in our version of Star Wars, thanks to all who are participating with us!
