Looking for a Virtual Team to join
Hi! I'm a 47 yr old female from Pennsylvania and am looking for a Virtual Team to join. I see all of the Teams under the Choose a Team drop down but how do you know if these teams are active or are participating in the Virtual Team Challenge?? Thank you!

Thank you both! I'm new to rowing (but LOVE IT!!) so just learning how to properly row and how to increase pace..mostly legs right??! So not sure anyone would want me in their boat for the CTC yet! I'm up for the distance type challenges for sure though.

I you have a look at the CTC you will see people at all levels including even a some youngsters - an entry for us at the moment at any pace would float a boat for us so don't hold back!! Everyone is welcome and we would love to have you (I am just about to press gang my wife to add her numbers as well).hollygirly310 wrote:Thank you both! Ctc is for everybody, from very fast to less fast, everybody is welcome. And its a nice way to include some other rows you might not think of yourselflindsayh wrote:I you have a look at the CTC you will see people at all levels including even a some youngsters - an entry for us at the moment at any pace would float a boat for us so don't hold back!! Re: Looking for a Virtual Team to join
Good choice... Even if they let Dutch and Australians on board...
It does mean you have to post more in the forum though

That's non-trivial. Send a private message to PaulH if you need a change on here.hollygirly310 wrote:Thank you! My name is actually Susan, guess I should change my user name
Re: Looking for a Virtual Team to join
I am also looking for a team to join. How can you tell if a team is active based on the online list? Or if you will benefit the team? I'm f 53 .
Thanks

Re: Looking for a Virtual Team to join
Hi! The way I found if a team was active is when you log in then click on Teams in the header bar. The first paragraph describes how teams compete in the three challenges so I clicked on each challenge then on the right side of page you can click on previous years teams standings which lists all the teams and you can further click to check out the team. Don't know if there was an easier way to do this but it worked for me!
