Whoop, whoop and how seasonal....FIVE Million Golden Meters! Congratulations, Ed, on setting such a blistering pace, and congratulations on yet ANOTHER 5 million meter season. We'll have to get some hoof covers for Dasher!
Thanks all for the kind words and graphics! Much appreciated... headed back tomorrow, time flew by per usual. Always hard to say good-bye to my 5 year old! Will miss a day due to the 32 hour flight.
Enjoy the holidays and I hope everyone meets their meters goal for the challenge. Nice to make money for the charities as well!
Happy rowing,
Ed

Opportunities for MORE meters abound....but dang....they are often hard to fit into the holiday schedule....so get 'em done now before you REALLY get busy! Welcome to day 10 of 31....amazingly, we still have only

reindeer...but TODAY could be your day!
Meanwhile, the donation meter sits at about $1500 - awesome!

Day 11 of 31...
To date, almost 500 MILLION METERS have been deposited in the Concept2 Holiday Challenge meter bank...and $2200 of the targeted $30K donation has been met. The Concept2 Universe is en fuego!
Dasher (Ed) should be winging his way back to the work site...albeit reluctantly....and you wondered if reindeer really could fly! And, while Dasher was in the air, several teammates gave us a moon shot with half marathons, also known as half moons!

Meanwhile...click click click...and what to our collectively wondering eyes should be revealed? Two new reindeer! Congratulations to Doug and Howard on earning the Concept2 donation AND those shiny reindeer...
Comet (Doug)
Almost always the first 8 teammates earn the classic 8 reindeer names from the poem "Twas The Night Before Christmas." Almost always. Notable exceptions are bg with her Starbuck, Norma with Stargazer, and Thor with...well, Thor. Now, the cartoon below has inspired ANOTHER reindeer name for a red motorcycle riding teammate who has earned his reindeer. This is how these things happen...
Zoomer (Howard)

Expecting the Lunie herd to grow much larger today...so many are SO CLOSE to claiming their reindeer. Go get 'em! Or as the call was on Rawhide, that western tv show of yesteryear...'head 'em up and mooove 'em out."

Or, for the more modern version.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdR6MN2jKYs No actual reindeer branding, though...

Zoomer!! I love it. Thanks ever so much for the new moniker. I'll have to admit that sometimes Plodder would be more accurate.

The mighty Thor has limped slowly over the line and is now Deer Thor.
Way to go to all the dear deer and so many more are so close.
Keep on hoofing. Um, yeah! haha.
