That's not the way it's done - I don't know what the rules are for multiple teams. Having more than one team needs to be discussed with folks like Casey and Joe. Most of that discussion happens on the Faceborg CTC group.

The idea is that boats form itself. A team of 15 will have the best 5 in boat one etc.

Every team can choose a challenge, if there lots of small teams, this system will be messed up. So preferably keep the teams a bit bigger. Ofcourse you guys could yourself have an other "interteam" ranking, but within the ctc itself is simply to disrupting.

Hi Guys,

Having trouble adding myself to the team.

Comes up with incorrect password.

Another team mate had same issue/ confusion over steps for adding a new person. Could someone confirm its working correctly?

Steps I did.
1. Add New Rower Name
2. Set New Password
3.Fill in other details
4. Press Update Details.

Result= Incorrect Password.

But looks like in the end I have been added.

Regarding multiple teams. I just assume that it was okay because looking at the home page teams like fitness matters have multiple teams.

Cheers

AS Doug has prob said already just go back in now that you are on and re-enter your password and confirm and you should be fine - it is a kind of bug in the system.
We are all members of just one team - the boats are numbered according to ranked pace or time - Fitness Matters is just one club and the people in each boat will change during the month as more entries come in for each team.

The website fills the boats automagically. You get at least one lady, one lightweight (any gender) and three heavyweights (any gender) in each boat.

oh okay, so depending on ranked time. The website automatically puts people in boats. Fastest 5 people in together and 2nd fastest in the 2nd boat etc. As long as they have 3 H, 1lt and 1 female. Thats pretty smart stuff.

Got it!! just go for it and you will see the shuffling start as entries occur through the month.

Any chance to get the bug fixed with the website? Regarding the message newcomers get after signing up. Saying incorrect password.

Also could the instructions of updating and adding a person be split into two different instructions as my friends and myself found it confusing. Mostly when it comes to password.
Like when signing up for the first time for you only fill out set new password box or do you fill out both password boxes when signing up.

Cheers
