Whoop, whoop and way to keep the erg fires going ! Congratulations, Ed, on achieving yet ANOTHER four million meter season! We wish you many, MORE! And since we are just about halfway through the 2017 season, we're pretty sure there will be more!

What's your lifetime meter total now?

Hi Kona, Thanks! Like I wrote to Thor the other day... I love my time on the rower, as nothing else to do. Would give up a few meters to be back with family! Not complaining we make the best of every situation. My life time is a little shy of 34,700,000

Thanks every one for the congrats... don't know if I want to do the 4 mil beers countdown. Haha

Happy Rowing,

Ed

Ed, that's a lot of meters and hard work! Always am amazed by watching your meter rate climb. Congratulations :D and row well.

Kona, very happy to see you've returned :P . Glad to know things went well and welcome back.

In Orlando for a conference through Tuesday, got in a half marathon yesterday (or as Ed calls it, a sprint :D ). Will check out the fitness center later today.

Whoop, whoop and wildly waving minions! We've got another meter multi-millionaire to celebrate! Congratulations, Steve W, on a fine "sprint" of a half marathon to complete quite the trifecta: TWO million, a half marathon, and the Skeleton Challenge! Well done! We wish you many, MANY more celebrations and millions!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 10.29.16

Image FIVE more Lunies on the Skeleton Crew!

Congratulations to newly minted Skeleton Crew members Minnie (almost a Halloween palindrome), Norma, Angelo !, Steve W, and Howard!

Image

Some seasonally creepy fog this AM...but what was even MORE scary was:

Image Horrors!

And, if there are only 56 days until Christmas...that means the reindeer are starting to gather for the Holiday Challenge...which is only 25 days away! But first, Concept2 has an anniversary for us to celebrate on November 6th...you'll row 40 minutes in the 40-4-40 Challenge on Sunday, November 6th (sometimes these dates have to be flexible in my book, just like the celebrations around other birthdays and anniversaries :D ). Completing this one on the actual date has some benefits for 20 randomly chosen people though....see Challenge details!

So get out your calendars and make sure you've cleared a path to get all these Challenges completed ! Erging through the season is a marvelous way to stay ahead of the increased calories and stress that the season can bring. Instead of a Christmas Countdown Calendar on your desk, you can impress your co-workers with a Meter Count Up Calendar...or not...hahahaha. Your success might just provide some inspiration!

Way to rock Steve man.
Also this is the half way mark of the 2017 rowing season. Well, yesterday and a half actually. Today is 183 days in. So, we have begun the second half. As we know the Holiday Challenge is coming and shortly there after the virtual team challenge so lots of reasons to get in the saddle now to start getting ready. If you plan on increasing your meters, be sure to build up to it. Also don't forget to baby the erg. Oil that chain and give that pony some loven.
Be healthy and strong folks.

K2, BG, Danwho & Mighty Thor, thanks for your support. Funny, noticed there are 2 Concept D rowers almost hiding in the back corner of the hotel fitness area. Checked the lifetime meters on the one used. Meters were at 57000-ish, so they get little use in this beautiful facility. 2K warmup before a 40 minute run, will use the other tomorrow to find it's lifetime mileage. May be the least used piece of equipment there  , too bad...
