I have this all figured out ... I just had an epiphany of sorts ... just got off the phone with my darling wife ... she set me straight ...

I believe the reason Dwayne is reluctant to race is that his wife won't let him. He wants to, but fears the sheer wrath of a woman scorned. But, he's too afraid to admit it to all of us highly testosteroned male rowers (sorry ladies) who would bust his ... how should I say this ... "marbles".*

If my wife wouldn't let me race, I wouldn't take a chance with my life and race, would any of you? (Who are married men.) Come one, fess up, you know you wouldn't. You might say you would, but deep down inside, you know you wouldn't. Life is too precious for that.

OK, it's now settled. This is an elegant solution to this matter. It's now closed.

Now we can move on to "Chad" being the topic. Thank goodness.

* Yes, this is a joke. Just joking Chad (and Dwayne, for that matter!).

Yesterday was the exception in distance (I did a bit more to try and help for the Jan virtual challenge).

Specifically: 2711m (a.m. warm-up)
24173m (a.m. training session)
1414m (lunch time warm-up before weights)
1395m (lunch time cool-down after weight)
2632m (p.m. warm-up)
18129m (p.m. training session)

The 5k time was not ranked yesterday, don't remember when that was done.

So what's your point? Yeah, and what about all these times, huh? VER-IF-FY, VER-IF-FY, VER-IF-FY!!!

C2 needs to get on this toot sweet (sorry Francois, my French is very bad ... Mrs. Tremaine, my high school French teacher, is likely rolling in her grave).*

* Yes, this is all just another silly joke from your new "Village Idiot" as Chad likes to call me.
