Thanks Stevecannondalerugby5 wrote:How about lots of rate 24 work Lindsay Great row!
interestingly (to some I guess) there is a fair bit of that sort of stuff happening at the moment with the PP steady sessions and I have been doing mainly longer steady "foundation" type metres and harder longer pieces since the middle of June with no sprint training. I was pleased with the 4min partly because there was little recent preparation and no taper. Still need to be able to rate up though - that last minute was a proper thrash.

Great final 500m! But it does seem the if there was that much left in the tank, you could probably improve on that PB with a more even pacing. Physically that is more efficient, but the mental factor might throw that off. There is a lot of satisfaction from being able to put in a strong sprint finish.

What caught my attention was the 280 average watts, but you were cruising along at 275 +/- 6 watts for the first 9 splits and then, boom!, it went up to 357 in the last split. Now it appears that it was actually 458w for the last half split! That's a 66% increase in power.runalone wrote:Only the last 250m (1:31,4)Bob S. wrote:Great final 500m! ...
