Hi everyone...

I turned 56 today -- not happy about it by any means but I except it. I rowed 9150 today --- not exactly a brilliant idea but it was the best I could think of I was gone Sunday through late Tuesday night. I broke my little toe last Saturday night thanks to Hewlett Packard. Was chatting with tech support to fix my brand new printer and when the tech lost me on the online chat window, he called my cell phone. Phone was in the front of my house and I was in the back in my office so I ran up the hall to try and grab the call and clipped my toe on a bench in the hall. It was seriously broken so I made a splint with a finger nail file, yanked it back into place and taped it to the other toes My new name is TayGyver. Sunday morning before my flight I got in 2000 meters as a test and while not exactly comfortable, I was able to row. There was no way I was going to allow the Fall Challenge to start without posting so I am glad I powered through it. I am home until Sunday afternoon so I hope to get in another 30K before then. I'm going to cover stats for a few days while K2 Pedals the Plains.
Appears she won't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

I was feeling rested and a wee bit spunky so I set my sights on 15k and I did it! I will admit my bum was starting to get numb with 3k to go but I stuck it out and finished with just a few tiny pauses to wipe the sweat off my face. It felt great to finish and I don't feel any the worse for wear

That's definitely not such an easy thing for everybody to just go do a 15 k.

Thanks David. I am wired for endurance so I hope to keep the momentum up. I did however break my little toe later that same night and then had to travel for work Sun-Wed. I knocked out 9150 meters tonight - 9/15 -today being my birthday.
