I have just recently purchased a model C erg from my cities university, $250, is that a bargain?

That is a steal, great job. Does it have a PM2 or a PM2+? The + gets you the computer hook up and the possibility of online rowing with erow or rowpro, otherwise they are the same.

Even if you have to replace all of the major wearing components- chain, sprocket, bungee, seat rollers, batteries, handle, traveling pulley and idler pulley- you're still in great shape. JonW

cool, thanks for the info, it has a pm2 + , how do i hook it up to the comp? <br /><br /><br />ya, my coach said i will have to buy a maintenance kit and such...
