@Mike, nicely done, half a second is a good amount of time to take off at a time.

@Piers, if you can type during an interval session surely that means you had some in the tank for the last one.

7:47.1 30
7:45.8 29 was on for 7:50 at half way on final rep. Had to dig deeeeeep.
Av 1:56.7 as you can see by my rate I just wasn't pulling until the end of the last rep.

Nice times Mike have a good evening.

Piers - that's a really solid effort. I suppose seemed messy to you but negative splits, you dug deep and brought it home. Rates within it might have jumped around but the end result pretty consistent. That's very nice out of you!!

Thanks all regarding my times. Appreciate it.

Great job Pierce! Who cares about rate!? Results are in, liquid carbs are going down, and its on to the next one in two days time!

Good stuff phxrow (do we have a name for you yet?)

Next time you can use your average split for these 6 to gauge how to row all but the last.

Phxrow, you are a dab hand at leaning out the mixture to extend the range as per 3rd and 4th iteration. Thinker not a thrasher. I like that! Flight of the Ph[oeni]x.

Piers bucking headwind and keeping it on heading. Mike making a fast passage on the milk run. The tuesday flights all accounted for except Dean, Gordon? GBarry making the interval run tomorrow?

Thanks all feeling better about it now as last rep was 3 seconds from my pb so not bad. Pleased I didn't drop the handle, glad I asked about pacing although when I sat down it virtually went out the window as was pointed out the 2k promotes its own pressure.

Nice times phxrow

G-dub - Thanks man I will do that next time. My name is Joseph.

Jackarabit - I appreciate the compliment. After #2 I was thinking these 500m intervals are no joke and I better pace myself like Pete says in his description! After #6 I was gassed. I pulled really hard on the last 250m..

Did my steady state this morning - run and erg for 60' and some upper body weights and abs tonight. Feeling a little sluggish today, as it were.

PP W2D2 - 8k SS
Decided on a very S SS - not too bothered about the pace here and ended up doing this in a very comfortable 2:25.8/500m

@Mike and Piers - some very solid 4 x 2k times posted. I'm not looking forward to these tomorrow :?
@Gordon - that's tough, sometimes work/life take priority and you just have to fit the training in best you can.
@Joseph - strong opening sprint times, good job! You obviously have potential.
