That excuse is laughable at best! He clearly done that just so you wouldn't think about reporting anything to eBay.
Just looks like it's not meant to be for you unless you buy new

given my experience of ebay, I doubt they'd do anything anyway. FWIW I only ever use Paypal as well as a last resort. Can't stand them.

Ebay are an absolute joke in all fairness! And what with their absurd policies like (sellers can't leave negative feedbacks on bad or non paying buyers) I mean what bright spark came up with that crap
![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
I still can't fathom, or make any sense of that and why it's a good idea
But there aren't many places better, when it comes to selling your products worldwide!! You attract such a massive audience and sale potential with your items. Of course eBay are fully aware of this, hence they don't really give a crap about many things other than how much money they can make.

I would have just used a courier!! Probably works out the same price anyway as what you'd spend in fuel.. in fact probably cheaper lol. And also has the added benefit of not having to fart on wasting hours driving about in a car.
Least you got sorted though

It's great having an erg @ Home
