Whoop, whoop and way to fit in another milestone! Somehow Ed's found a way to stretch time (or sleep less) and has reached the TWO million meter milestone...15 hr days...hooboy! Nothing like a double time shift. Congratulations! We wish you many, MANY more!!
Man, the master Ed goes on and on and on. Way to go!!!

We're having a run on bronze medals as Doug G, Virginia, AJ and 00-Minnie grab their medals and continue onward towards silver. Kevin has turned his bronze into silver...and more are sure to follow! The algorithm that runs the sorting for the Dog Days of Summmmr Challenge isn't working quite right - it's designed to show us who has successfully completed weeks 1 and 2, but only does so if the individual has a total of at least 100K. No problem. That total should be within reach for many in the next few days as we start week 3.

Meanwhile, I chose a bike day yesterday as Pedal the Plains is getting closer (four weeks to go - yikes!) and training must go on! I rode the US 36 Bikeway towards Boulder, and meandered along some of the trails that connect with the Bikeway. Sunflowers line both sides of the bikeway for significant stretches, and with the mountains and blue sky...well, you couldn't help but smile big. I bet there are some heavy traffic delays on the US 36 that will have those in vehicles fuming while cyclists zip by on the path that parallels the highway. It's a great commuter pathway, and attractive as a training ride since you can maintain a good pace without a lot of stops.

Thinking about sunflowers, I recently read an article about some discoveries about sunflowers.
Even with all the science, the smile is just as big.

All the best on your 'training' ultra, bg.
Your '24' circadian rhythm is another natural wonder.

Definition of swimmable
: that can be swum

Is swum a word? Hahaha - I have NO idea if swum is a word, but since this is a Merriam Webster definition....it probably is! Fun stuff!

Belated congrats to you and mrswho on the anniversary!! A fine thing to be looking ahead to that gem with the atomic mass of 12, but methinks you'd best not overlook those precious gems/metals in between.

And thanks, K2. Shaun's beaming with his bronze--something to add to his bling collection!

Thankwho !!!
I was having a little fun as a Helium Who for a while, but even that shiny bauble with an atomic mass of 12 couldn't compensate for the squeaky voice. Definitely time to move up the periodic table... while there's still some time.

Beautiful view, Kevin.
