18k for me - jan 7

We are smoking up the west coast of Newfoundland now. We only have to cross the island and then join that speedy trans atlantic boat.

I am still working on the "rowbot" and modifying the website. I hope to have it fully functional by the time the 2 boats merge.

Keep on rowin',

Jim

Great row there Brian!!! You were really moving! We've got one full boat, now we can start getting that second one full .

Good work on the site Jim, that's exciting that we're almost there!

I rowed 14k today, including a rowpro workout 6X200metre w/ 1000 metre rest between. I was able to get to the fastest pace I've ever gotten to. On the last interval (for about 100 meters) I was at a 1:28/500 pace, 43 s/m. I was coming close to flying off the seat! Overall, I had a 1:32.5 pace for the intervals. Hard workout on the body but it's probably good for starts and building power. Time for a good stretch and a hot bath .

Great rowing everyone.

I have sent everyone an email updating them on the progress of the eh!team for the January challenge. This was by request from some. Let me know if you do not want the emails and I can remove you from the send list.

I am trying to get the website more sophisticated so you can see your meters rowed by individual.

I have also been able to merge the google earth files for the cross canada row and the trans atlantic row. The best file to download now is from Trans Atlantic Row site and click on the globe. The more I play around with google earth, the more fascinating it gets.

You may have noticed that martini glass at the pub in ireland, if you have an icon you would like to represent your indiviudal rows, instead of the pushphin, let me know and I will make it happen. (This only works when you are in the Trans Atlantic Boat.... it's got a rowbot!)

Keep on rowin',

Jim
