12 k for me (in two rows) 4k eye opener (mega slow) and 8k this evening. In the 8k, 6k of it was at a 2:03 pace)

I'm entered in a 2k on Chrismas Eve day on Row Pro. If any of you have Row Pro and want to work up a bit of an appetite (or an excuse to eat more ) the race is at 2:00 pacific time. If you can't or don't want to race, you might as well eat a lot anyway. It's going to be a long pull when we go across the Atlantic . We should be able to carbo-load for the forseeable future .

I think we're getting a bit of attention. I noticed that Mark P. from the Ohio State team said "GO BUCKS!!! WE GOT IT DONE AGAINST "THAT TEAM UP NORTH" ... WAHOO!!!" Could that be us??? I wonder what they got done against us? Do you think it is some kind of a yank challange or something?

Add another 5k for me -- still in Ottawa, with no control over drag factor, but what the heck! You wouldn't believe some of the machines i have rowed on as i travel. The good news is that i seem to find them. Back holding up, so that's also good news. Hi Francois in Ottawa!

Jill

Great rowin', hosers, eh.

Our January virtual team is starting to shape up to be one of the contenders. Please welcome Shannon Meekins, Jane Grice and Dan Wickwar to the virtual Eh!Team.

Our present team for the January challenge looks like this:

Francois Audet
John Berryman
Rob Clayton
Krysta Coleman
Linda Corkal
Jim Corkal
Jane Grice
Mark Keating
DArcy McKittrick
Shannon Meekins
Daryl Muz
Kirk Nelson
Trevor Reeves
Michael Siska
Brian Turner
Jill Vandal
Dan Wickwar

Many of the regular Eh!Team members are not on this list. Please send me your first name, last name, and email address if you do not see your name here. It does not matter how fast, slow or far you row.

We should make it into New Brunswick tonight, as a matter of fact I am going to go pull the chain now to make sure we make it over. (We are within 5k as of the last update to the website)

Jim

You can add another 5k on for me Jim. My backs feeling a bit tight tonight so no evening row (plus we're about to watch the X-men movie and I'm the official pop-corn maker,) so I'd better get to work . John.

But it looks like this is a contagious disease.

I'd watch the x-men just for Famke Janssen, aka Dr. Jean Gray. One of my faves.

Jim

I did a 4x2K session last night with 6' rest intervals - that was the hardest I've worked in quite a while. I negative split the session, starting at 1:59 and averaging 1:57.5.

Tonight was a 40' alternating between 2' @ 16 SPM/2:21, then 2' @ 18 SPM/2:17. All the sessions seem to be getting easier.
