If I was to do this I would then put myself in the position that I am complaining about.

Something does need to be done.

Most off us don't care to much.

If I were DA Is would simply do one good race and make everybody eat dust who was sceptic, but if he chooces to do, so be it.
But if he choses to just erg and not race his performances will never be without doubt so in that I follow you.
If Dwayne, or anybody else for that matter, chooses to fudge their erg scores they are only hurting themselves - in other words, big whoopty-flippin-doo.

Find something else to worry about.

How do I answer, fake or real? Yes or no? Fake, yes? Real, no? Confusing

I don't care really, although I would like to know if Dwayne has plans to race in the near future.

Hi Chad,

I haven't personally met Dwayne, but I believe all his times. If you want to find out more about him, check out the Taff Attack thread. He is a genuine athlete and a gentleman. He is very supportive of the whole team's efforts, no matter what level they are at. You will find some record of his training in the thread--he rows an incredibly high number of meters per day. There's no reason to doubt that someone who is putting in those meters couldn't do what he's doing.

About the PM3 verification: I also have the PM3. Just got it recently. Some of my times were done before I had the PM3. They don't say IND_V. Of course all ranked times I've done since I got it have the IND_V. I would suspect it's the same situation for Dwayne, and expect that next season all his ranked times will have the verification, unless they were rowed at a club without the software or something. When you travel for your work as he does you have to row on what's available, and if you did a #1 ranked row on a PM2 machine, you'd rank it, would't you? I sure would, and will if I do a top time when on vacation in March.

Just because his times are not within the realm of possibility for you shouldn't make you feel justified to cast aspersions at his integrity. Row your best, post your times honestly, and expect others to respect you and trust you to the extent that you respect and trust others.

I have just been on the Nonathlon site; I have had a look at Dwayne’s scores, some of them are as follows.
500m in 1.14.1
1000m in 2.40.1
2000m in 6.01.3
30 minutes 9036m
60 minutes 17125m

I then look at the C2 online ranking, some of Dwayne’s scores follow
500m in 1.14.5
1000m in 2.40.5
2000m in 6.03.5
30 minutes 9037m
60 minutes 17120m

Why do these not tally up?
The 500m, 1000m and 2000m from the bottom list have IND_V. But we have established that at least the 500m was not done use a PM3 variation system.
The 500m on the Nonatholn is faster, so why did Dwayne not follow the same procedure as he did for the 1:14.5?, same with the 1000m and 2000m

Why done his Nonathholn scores not match that of his online ranking scores? He could put them in as unverified scores like he has with some of the other distances and times.

Again, things don't seem to match up!!

I appreciate you comments Carla, all I am asking for is proof that he has rowed them. I can find proof for any other sub 5.50 minute rower but not for Dwayne, so I have to ask the question why?

Please, prove me wrong, anyone!!!
from the uk chat.

It's not a debate, so far it's a supply-side monologue.

The timing is curious -- could it be someone who thinks he might otherwise win the division at WIRC is trying to figure out whether or not to commit to the plane fare + hotel?!

could also be the case

Going by what he does for a 2000m (without credible proof or evidence) he would beat me by a long way.

This would give some people another chance to get off the main reason for my original post.

I have put so many points out in this thread and nobody has come back with any evidance to disprove it. Go back and read all my posts, they are not lies, you can all find this information yourselves if you choose too.

If he has so many believers (the poll shows different, just as many disbeliveers to believers), then let them put me right by showing me proof.
One only needs faith, or to accept the better side of human nature, rather than the worse. The millions of Christians around the world cannot provide proof that their God exists, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't. (FWIW, I don't believe that he does, and were you asking God to prove his existence, I'd be in the same corner of the ring as you.) =)
I found the First Impressions on the Slides thread insufferable and uninformative. Therefore, I picked up the phone and ordered a pair so I could see for myself (they should arrive today ).

Since the Dwayne Adams conundrum can't be solved with a credit card, I suggest you all drop the matter and get back to your workouts.

>>>-------> Kinley

Chad could use his CC to buy a flight to wherever Dwayne trains, and watch him in training. =)
