Not for rowing, but for scuba divers: a Honda mini-suv with "BELOH20" and a dive flag next to it.

clever, but it's like an expensive bumper sticker that cannot easily be replaced/changed when you get your mileage out of the novelty.

My lifetime favorite was a Subaru in Clemson SC that simply read "CAR TAG". plain enough.

Outside one of the large financial institutions in Canary Wharf London I saw last week S55 ROW on an S Class Mercedes.

In the Sunday paper today the cherished numberplates adverts have 1 ERG for sale.

This type of thing does not appeal to me but if it did the 1 ERG or, if available,
1 ROW would probbaly be pretty close to the mark.

Neil

It isn't rowing related, but my all-time favorite was seen on a porshe as it zoomed past me on the highway. The driver was a woman about 45-50 years old. She was clearly enjoying herself with the top down on the convertible.

The license plate read "WAS HIS"
