Hi everyone!

I'd like to take my ERG along for travel/work. The original box is gone - and was big, anyway.
Have you used another box, like a professional bicycle container etc, to ship your erg?

Thank you for all suggestions!

Boris

Let us know how that goes....

seriously, find a club at your destination (general health or rowing), and use that. I know that C2 has a register of thier Dyno's, and I thought they used to have a register of available ergs for use in travel destinations.

I read in another post that somebody wanted to sell a used erg, and had to ship it. There was a suggestion to order a new, empty shipping box with the packaging materials from C2 in order to ship the erg to the buyer.

So, if you are determined to take your own erg with you, that's a plan.

Good luck.

Locating a health club where you are going is a good idea.

I've also had some pretty good luck with requesting an erg at the locations I'm going to. I recently came back from a cruise, and had requested that an erg be on the ship. They did it.

I'm also currently on my way to Thailand (In the plane as I type - ain't technology cool?!!), and requested that the hotel find an erg for me. They couldn't get ahold of one, but supplied me with a host of health clubs within walking distance of the hotel.

Dwayne

I am taking a transatlantic cruise next year and would VERY much like to 'row' across the pond!

Thanks,

Z
