Ah, I remember when I learned about Noor... the Arabic name meaning Light.
I didn't notice the relationship of Nyquist to Noor right away (http://www.pedigreequery.com/nyquist), but I definitely defer to you on such matters.
It occurred to me, while I was reading all the names in various pedigree charts, that maybe we should have a Kentucky Erg-by, where we all get some horse names. I thought of that when I got to "Political Parfait" in Nyquist's pedigree chart.
Now which one of My Favorite Martians wants to be the announcer?

Got it. I just didn't go back far enough. I needed to follow the Mississippi Mud line off the Nyquist line.
