There is already an option for directing the airflow its called a C-Breeze.

http://www.ps-sport.net/

These fit to the Model C far better than the Model D, but if you want a project it could be modified to actually fit to a D better than a C by putting some cut outs in it and having the cords run under the "Bridges" on the Model D hosing. Fitting bits of drain flow is stupid.

With a Model C the cords need to be tight or it just blows off, with the bridges it would be impossible to come off if the cords ran under them.

I run one on my Model C, gives me the option to jump on this during the summer and then switch to the Model D during the winter.

"FItting bits of drainflow is stupid." Yeh, lot of that going around! Just yesterday somebody posted that he decided to remove the clipon balance weights from his C2 flywheel and assumed they were interchangable as to weight. Can you imagine?

Carl, I just got a glance at your latest before it disappeared. I must have got the "half a brain" you didn't. Your half should be larger to prevent it rattling around in your big head.

Okay so probably wrong choice of wording, perhaps to point out the C-Breeze as a more elegant solution and somewhat less of an "agricultural" solution compared to drain flow.

The post got deleted after a closer inspection of the photo, initially I didn't even think they had cut out the bottom of the drainflow to accept the air intake, obviously cutting it wide enough to accept all the air out of the grille would be a must.

Carl, thanks once again for littering one of my threads with your BS.

I dont understand why it is that some people seem to feel the need to attempt to make themselves feel better/smarter/more important by trying to call others questions/opinions/information/point of view/accomplishments stupid or the like.

Dear forum, play nicely. Or this thread will get locked.

You should spring in sooner, and think before you act. Last week you made Ross leave. Carl should stay on own turf, apart from row pro nothing really interest him, just like last week he again just pissed the op threadstarter off with zero usefull input. Take care of that.

Citroen,

This is of course just a suggestion but as hjs points out it would be really nice if instead of locking a thread because it has gotten out of hand, if the thread could be cleaned up and the person/people responsible for dragging it into the mud were advised to stay on topic or stay out.

If Carl had simply stayed out there are 15 posts in the thread that would have never been made. That said, of course there are replies to his annoying posts and if we all chose to ignore him he may just go away but as a moderator if you could keep him in line he may choose to stay and provide some value to the forum instead of strife.

Carl,

I used to be like you. Id get a thought or notion in my head and Id try to make everyone see my side or point of view and realize I was right. I then had children and realized others had a will, opinions, desires different from mine, and that was ok. I also realized that no matter how big a dick I was, my penis stayed the same size. Your approach is generally not liked. Please do your best to find a better way.

Tim K.:

On the DF front, I lost power this AM and temp. was 55°F. in the house when I started my daily dawdle on the rower. Bit chilly for the airstream off the blowjack so blocked both outlets with foam plugs. Moved damper pointer from mid-5 to mid-6 for my usual DF of 109-112. Got my 12k in without catching my death.

55f = <13c! Thats chilly! Where do you live that your house can cool off that much overnight (in april)?

I ended up not getting to making one yet. Ended up having more work walk in the door just as I was leaving work so no weekend for me

That's what I meant by "Dear forum, play nicely." I don't have enough inclination or time to waste cleaning this thread of Carl's junk.

DelMarVa peninsula, east coast continental U.S. Moderate clime cf. to Alberta but high winds cool this old house pretty quickly. Restored 4 pm local time; had to use wife's 3G ipad to post earlier.

WTF is going on?
I recently purchased a brand new motor vehicle that was so smooth and quiet and and economical its development must have cost a fortune.

Unfortunately the manufacturers made one big mistake when they designed it because they made it too slow.

In an effort to rectify their mistake and improve its performance I decided to remove the exhaust system.

I knew I was on the right track as soon as I fired it up because it sounded like a tank and as every boy racer knows the more noise you make the faster you go.

The problem I have now is that the speedometer doesn't synchronise with the noise properly.

WTF is going on?
