Thor, not sure exactly how this will work with your conversion software. The ability to see how many Lunies are in a Challenge was recently added back in by Concept2 at our request. You go to the page with the progress board, and on the right side of the page there are a list of options - you can look at specific distances (2500, 5000, 10000 boards), and you can also look by country, or you can look by affiliation as a drop down menu. I just look at the 5000 m board as it will pull up everybody, and then select Lunatics for affiliation. Both danwho and I tried to go back and look at other Challenges, and the capability wasn't there. It's made it more fun for me to be able to call out that number without having to hunt through a bunch of pages.

And sometimes when you get an image deleted message, you just need to refresh your browser. Nothing deleted.

Meanwhile, the overall progress board leak is getting even slower, but 14 vaporizations still occurred. Glad to report that no Lunies were converted to space dust. You've got today and tomorrow to get your 5 or 10K done, and make it 25 days!

Image Still throwin' sevens!

Don't take a break after you get your 25 days in ... we're in a Two-Fer with two challenges occurring concurrently! Keep plugging away..! Thanks to all who are helping us!

Thank you K2. I've tried and I still can't make that one box work. I can make the other boxes work but not the affiliates one. I can even select page numbers in that box but for some reason the one box just doesn't appear to work for me. If any other JAWS users had success sorting the data by affiliates, can you post me and let me know? I want to know how for the next challenge. We aint done by a long shot. Grin.

Don't know what else to tell you Thor - I do know that if you try to make ANY changes after you have selected Affiliations - LunaTics - that the page resets and you're back at square one or one squared or something other than what you wanted. You may have to just read it here first... :D

Thor, I don't know about JAWS, but I think I do see a difference between that box and others, that maybe is causing some problem for JAWS.
But, instead of working on that, I think I have a workaround for you. Instead of selecting something from a drop-down, you can pass in the argument directly in the url.
So, for example, for Mud Madness, use this url:
http://log.concept2.com/challenges/mud- ... &sort=name
The "affiliation=1092" part will show you the Lunatics results.

Dan that is very cool. I even changed the statement a bit and still it worked. Jean also gave me a JAWS tip that worked as well. I am keeping the url information for later use Dan. Thank you Jean and Dan and of course K2.

Nothing to do with rowing, but I saw this and had to post it.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.30.16

Post by Kona2 » March 31st, 2016, 11:37 am

Image Seems to me that Ed also migrated from Idaho to the desert of Qatar....good TED talk danwho...

Image And so we have arrived at the last day to earn your shamrocks and pots of gold...and whoa....Lunie Force has been dealt a blow...17 percent drop in our stayin' alive numbers....yep, only 24 Lunies stayin alive at this time! Just when I think I've got the pattern figured out...SURPRISE. I don't. A whopping 258 virtual ergers VANISHED from the overall progress board. That's enough to make for a sharp inhale of surprise.

Since danwho sent us down a historical trail, I learned that history is valuable to shape how we look at today's world too. History does, however, sometimes repeat itself...

I shared the graphic below (from 2009) earlier in the Mud Challenge...and it shows that the end point overall has about 1000 virtual participants. With our current 1036, I'd say not a lot has changed even though we have DOUBLED the number of virtual participants in the Concept2 universe.
