Maybe it helps, my personal "weekness" at east on of them is not using much softer weeks, even If I do I somehow don,tG-dub wrote:Henry, that's just what my intuition says. I can believe, from an impact standpoint, it could cause damage if done too much and at more power. My back and neck tell me so. It is addictive - powering the pedals feels very productive and I know it is helping my stroke get better - but not worth getting hurt over. I'm also doing one sprint session a week to stay in touch with speed and higher rate too. And obviously the speed work would increase if a test was on the horizon, which right now it's not.
This year I got my best aerobic fitness based on L4 stuff, but L4 is to fast for me, every session I end up in AT land. So using sense, I should do them but use a softer 2k reference.
At the moment by the way I will roughly start a strenghtfase again. Will keep on rowing, but main focus weight/speed. Won,t directly help my 2k, but I need some more tough power for a sub 1.20 500.
Will keep on doing longer 18/21 ish work. But no other hard erging.
