Wowzer....seems like we just celebrated your 28th million and here you are at the milestone marker AGAIN Ed! Good work and great rowing! I will put some fireworks up there in the tomorrow.

Meanwhile, no Lunie winners YET on the random drawings...and I'm sure we're very random! Rower parts arrived by speedy post today and I have installed them. Those little axle things are harder to take out and replace than I expected....I must work on beastiness. Still, I didn't have to gym it today which was a plus.

Hi all,

Just joined your team tonight. Have been reading through the messages on here, and am in AWE of the accomplishments of so many of you - congrats!

I am brand new to rowing - used an erg a couple times at the gym years ago, but that's it. Decided a few weeks ago that I had to get off my butt and do something. Got my C2 on Feb. 20th, so still getting used to everything. Was lurking on the forum for weeks so figured it was time to look around for a group to join and love how active you guys are on the forum so had to join in! :)

Bg good luck on your upcoming events!!!

What a wimp

It's amazing to me how much running and rowing you do.

David
i'm so spoiled-being retired gives the time to train and i can nap whenever i want to :]
You really are amazing!! I think completing the Boston is pretty incredible but even attempting a 100-mile ultra puts you in a pretty elite group of runners.

I was supposed to be away for a week, but life threw a wrench in the plans.
On the plus side, I will get more rowing in, starting later today.
Congratulations Ed on 29 MM !!! Even with the flu, I know that the "holding"
portion of "29 and holding" will be short lived.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.16.16

Post by Kona2 » March 17th, 2016, 4:46 pm

Image Image ...It's Throwback Thursday! Turn back the clock...you KNOW you were drinking green beer on St Patrick's Day! (Some beers do this color change better than others....)

Image 34 Lunies stayin' alive!!!

Meanwhile....(a common refrain)...MORE VAPORIZATIONS occurred off the overall Progress Board...delighted absolutely that no Lunies got turned into space dust! How many vaporizations you ask (well you would have),..a mere 139. And every one of them was really unhappy about it too. I would have been on that list had I not gone to the gym. The Concept2 rocket supply ship delivered the two axels, four bolts and four locking washers to me yesterday. I was back in erging business within the hour (although it was more difficult than I thought it would be to pop the old axles out).

So far, no Lunies on the Concept2 winners list...what's up with that?! C'mon, randomly choose a Lunie recipient!

1.95 MM Stefan
1.05 MM Howard

Today's row carried me past 5 million lifetime meters. Gee, it's less than some folks row in a single season. In the spirit of David A.'s circumnavigation, I looked to see how far 5 MM meters would get me from NJ. Sadly, only to the West coast or, in the other direction, a few miles off the coast of Ireland

Hi Heather. This is a great group of people for sure. I hope you will enjoy yourself here and on your machine. If you have questions, you can post them here as well. There is usually someone here that knows the answer.
A big welcome to all the new folks. We've had a lot of new folks joining lately. I love it!
Keep on rock'n.
Rock and row aint noise pollution.
May not smell the best though. haha.
Thor.

Hi Heather,

Welcome to the team! A little biased here - but you picked the right team... Good luck on your goals! Wish you many happy rowing sessions.

Good for you Norma. As you know you are one of my heros. As such I will be hitting the big 5 million lifetime meters in 5 days or so now. Don't forget to order your long sleeve t-shirt. Oh, and get your certificate. Gotta have that. Grin. I haven't miss one certificate this season. That is my first. Well this is my first full season rowing so that does help.
I plan on seeing my name on the Mud Madness winners list. I'd love to win some of their clothes. Shorts would be good.
Have fun and rock on.
