Running in the raw. Hmm.
Oh yes they call her the streak! BG, you are one cool chick! Um, lady? Woman? Human? Whatever works in your world, you are very definitely it.
I just updated my stats and found my season total is now 3,236,263. I never plan amounts so I find it sort of amusing when I get something that works out like this.
Keep on rock’n, running or anything else that keeps the heart beating. Clothing apparently is optional now and then too.[/quote]

thanks :] and what's that saying-just don't call me late for dinner or dessert :}

As long as we were taking a long look back ...
Buster Keaton is my personal favorite of the early film comedians.
Anyone know the story behind the name of that boat? Damn if I know.

After whining and complaining about how long it took for Netflix to send me The Martian, I eventually watched it, yesterday. Fun movie, and pretty close to the book (apart from the very very end). Maybe our next round trip to the Moon could take a worm hole detour and stop on Mars, to see if there are any desiccated potato souvenirs to be gleaned.

On a different note, the fine folks at Concept-2 were righteously honest and told me that (sadly) the ski-erg probably wouldn't be any easier on my knees. I do like exercising while watching movies, so have been experimenting with erg sessions ... so far, so good, keeping it between 7 and 10K/day, 5 days/week. I'm certainly not going to get to the Moon with those distances; good thing that the whole team's contributing to the mission! Onward.

You can do a very nice workout in 7 to 10K. The main thing is to row for the health of it. Perhaps you can play with the damper setting on the wheel. Make is a bit harder to give a better workout. Also shorten the stroke a bit on the legs to consontrate the effort on the thigh keeping the pressure off the knees. Place more emphasis on the back, arms and shoulders. One of the great things about rowing it that it is so adaptable. I do believe we have some folks on our team who don't have the use of their legs at all? If not I once knew a guy who didn't. He was quite remarkable .
Keep on rock'n, always!

Ah, the slingshot gravity assist maneuver. K2 left me some notes on that one, let me see if I can find them. In case I screw up, probably best to pop some meclizine. (Hmmm, I got a spell check on that - seems C2 wants me to recommend mescaline - okay, that'll work too - we'll just take a page from the Castaneda book of astrogation.)
Sorry about the knees. I was noticing some knee trouble right around the time you mentioned yours. So far, I think it's now somewhat under control - doing the same thing as you - watching the distance and the speed. But we'll definitely do this - all together.

Well, okay, mescaline could take care of any number of problems. Knees and sitting bones would feel no pain; and a trip to the moon, Mars, an alternate universe, could take place inside the comfort of our own head. (Though, that's basically what we do already in our virtual little Lunie-world, isn't it!? The trips; not the actual meters.) Messrs Castaneda and Huxley would be right proud.
