What is this lead for?

Post by rapscalli » February 10th, 2016, 4:00 am

Hi all, just joined a gym in work, and was wondering what this lead was for on the rower?

It connects a Polar analog HR dongle to the PM2, PM3 or PM4.

It's just a stereo headphone extension lead. Looks like the dongle is missing.

Thanks for coming back to me. I have a polar H7 and log the exercise and HR stats via Endomondo on my phone. Will there be any benefit in instead using this dongle along with the PM3?

^This is the answer. Its the cord for the Heart Rate monitor probe, but it looks like someone has taken it off (therefore you cant use a heart rate monitor). So its essentially a useless cord @ this time.

How could it have any benefit if there is no receiver on the cord? As the previous poster said in the quote - it is useless.

I was wondering if there would be any benefit in using this dongle over Endomondo and my polar H7. If there was I would buy one.
