Happy new year to all ye Oarsomites (and Pirate as hes here so often ).

I have managed to train myself on every day except Xmas day and New years day over the break but each time it was in the morning and usually with some kind of hangover so quality of sessions wasnt upto much but hopefully I havent lost too much fitness. Ive only put on 2 pounds aswell which will be gone in a couple of days.

I dont know, I leave you all for a week or so and you start coming up with stupid votes for something known as 10x1500m, stop being silly !

My vote is for 10k unrestricted.

Burrows, you are such a lazy sod!! You need to sort your life out, you drink too much and you don't train hard enough. The rest of Team Awful carries you, they are going to kick you out if you don’t sort it, and then you will have to beg to join Team Taff.

It's a new year, so you should aim to get your life in order. Now go to your room and think about what I have said, go on, off you go!!

Happy New Year to Team Awful

Sir Pirate
Matt,
I posted last night on the UK forum (during it's few minutes of life) my time for the 1k done on the 29th of December. Hope it can still go into the league
A very poor 3:19.3 (i think, haven't got my wee book to hand).
Long way off pb of 3:14.7
I managed a 10k pb a few months ago, so I vote for the 10x1500m with 1 minute rests.
Ash/Nick/Toddy - any advice on the best pace to use for th 1500's? Never done that one before
