Fantastic PB, Henry. I had a good day too!
I finally (after 5 years of trying), broke 16K for an hour.
Improved my old PB by 163 meters from 15909m to 16072m. Avg Pace 1:52.0.
It was pretty hard work. Here's my pace and HR. I was able to slow a little bit in the last third because the projected finish was around 16100.

It's been a solid 6 years (almost), Greg. It has been interesting following your progress, but this is indeed a high point to pick up another PB.

You're right!
I just used the new concept2 logbook and checked. I managed my first 15k hour on 4/20/2010. So, I've been chasing 16k for 5 years and 8 months.

Splendid 2k Henry, great 1 hour Greg, both doing PBs after years of training and not getting younger while being at it. Congratulations to both of you!

Pretty serious 60min piece there Greg. Is there anything sweeter than rowing faster as you get older? Nice!

5k PB: 17:16.3 - 1:43.8
Goal was sub 17:20, so began pace at the average of my most recent 5k - 1:44.9 (17:29); dropped to 1:44.5 for the second 500; held 1:44 / 1:43.9 up until final 1000m, then 1:43.1; and final split of 1:39.9.
