Great try and find yourself now in the annual meters board, all the "Sort" functions have gone.

Also your overall position to the person with the most meters has gone, was trying to make the top 600 but thats gone too.

Looks oversimplified, perhaps the missing bits are coming.I thought it was getting improved not made worse or am I missing something here?

Nice in the history of your "Lifetime bests", sad to see they were so many years ago.....

God all sorts of problems, a RowPro Online row uploaded to the C2 Website is now not considered a verified row in the rankings !

I do like the feature where you can search for verified rows only in the rankings, very nice.

I think C2 needs to fix that problem.

Manually entering the verification code is not working either on the RowPro uploaded workout where you can manually edit the workout, its coming up verification code incorrect.

Yes, same problem at my end. The wife uploaded her data from RP and it shows as unverified.

On the other hand, I can't get my RP data uploaded because I keep getting told my C2 user name and password are invalid.
Been worked over by the erg since the 2nd week of October 2015

I can't upload my workouts (from yesterday evening) from USB using the concept2 utility program in windows.
Sometimes i get the error: not connected to the internet.
The screen looks like all the workouts on the usb-stick are to be uploaded.
I am already logged in in the logbook. I can see the previous results in the new layout screen.

Maybe the guys are still working on the system.
(I'm located in Belgium.)

Succes with the upgrade guys ...

UPDATE:
- workouts are uploaded now
- Conceopt2 utility (win10) shows as 'not uploaded' (tick box open)
- some workouts are listed twice in the logbook

RowPro will not even upload to the C2 Website at present, user name and password are invalid.

Think I best just give C2 a bit a time to get things sorted, there are alot of changes and perhaps it all coincides with the soon to be released V5 of RowPro so hopefully all the changes will be for the best in a few weeks.

Looks like some good changes but alot of stuff that was working has fallen over.

Use of the pull-down menus has improved a lot and it's much cleaner, even too clean; maybe there's not all that much to display anyway.

Too much blank space in the ranking tables, because column widths are inappropriate and the percentile table is on the right rather than at the top, with lots of white below, so very few lines can be seen on a single page, which nominally has 50. Removing the Club/Affiliation column would help, if existing it's already in the profile 2 clicks away.
Scrolling down, headings disappear in all tables.
Need the font be so ghostly?

Thanks for reminding me of my times... in 2002.

another thing is the format of the csv files (history).
maybe not relevant for many, but I use the data from the csv to update my own sql DB for various things (dynamic signature, statistics, geeky things).

means i have to reprogram my tables and queries, not a biggy - just worth noting...

oh and the history only goes back 50 entries , which buggers up (my) the stats.... grr....
signature, website stats.

Overall it looks nicer, and I am still exploring the new features.

One bug I noticed is that the filtering is lost when I click on the "Your Standing" link in Rankings:

1. In rankings, select an event, season, age group, and gender and Click Search.
2. Click on the number in the Your Standing box.
I am taken to a page in the results for the event in the current season for all genders and age groups. This page does not contain my standing because the number of pages has changed. If I click on the Your standing link again, I do see my event, but it is mixed in with all age groups and genders.

Also, I see that the RowPro links are gone from the standings. Is there any way we can get that back? I loved being able to download the race of someone who is a bit faster than me to row against.

Basically they stripped off the ledger lines and box dividers, gave us a sort for verified rankings function, and "fixed" most of what WASN'T broke. This would be pathetic if it weren't business as usual.

In general it looks nice.
It doesn't, however, show all historical data - only the past 15 years.
Also, there are many discrepancies in the historical data, so much of the info is incorrect.

Yes it "Looks nice" but all of the actual "sort" functionality I used in the Annual meters board has been stripped out and what you have now is just a "list"

I wouldn't have minded if they had actually added some useful columns like your average 500m pace for all those meters and if all those meters were verified or not, but just a list within each section like 5000m+ and 7500m+ is pretty useless really, especially as you need to know your daily average before you can even find yourself on the list in the first place. Its not like there is not a ton of blank space on the screen in which you can add columns with some more useful data.

You are also kind of drawn to the ages of the rowers and you have to ask yourself the question why the younger generation are not interested in logging their meters here. Things have changed significantly and there are now alot more younger people using the Erg, schools have them for training and I even know parents that have bought ergs for the kids to help with their OTW training. Clearly there is something lacking in the appeal or the process in getting results on the C2 Logbook.

Here's the same advice as I've written in every other thread. Send an email to ranking@concept2.com or they'll never know you've got a problem with the new logbook.

Perhaps some of the relevant C2 staff should keep an eye on the Forums now and again.

Plenty of feedback here from people that are actually trying to use it on an almost daily basis.

Really had no complaints or a reason to contact them on the old version, it was working fine, perhaps they should have run it in parallel for a while or offline a bit longer to check that it worked. Maybe switch back until the issues are resolved, but no big deal can wait a few weeks then upload all the results from the RowPro Logbook when its working again.

In general, for support requests, ranking@concept2.com is a better bet as it's easier to go back and forth over things there.

jalynn2 - I've just fixed the issue with going direct to the right rankings and clicking on your link.

The new Logbook is still under active development, and features like filtering/sorting honour boards will probably come in sooner rather than later (i.e. next week), as will adding back in comments to the log view.

As a partial list of new features:

- Rankings now have permanent, easily readable URLs, so you can go straight to, for example, http://log.concept2.com/rankings/2015/r ... tatus=race
- You can now filter your season's workouts by time/distance/pace/workout type
- You can send training partner requests from a users profile or mini profile (viewable by clicking on their name in the Rankings/Honor Boards)
- The detailed view for a workout now shows calories and watts
- You can now add more text for comments on workouts
- It's much easier to join a team or affiliation (e.g. when viewing an affiliation on the standings, you can join an affiliation from there)
- It's mobile friendly
- there's a much better profile page, along with more detailed privacy settings (e.g. your log can now be viewed by: no one, logged in users, training partners only, the world). You can add social networks to your profile, upload a picture easier, add your weight and height etc
- you can also change your preferences so you can view dates in dd/mm/yy format or mm/dd/yy or weight in lbs or kg etc

Coming soon
- Future versions of ErgData/Concept2 Utility will be able to send across more data to the Logbook
- We'll have an API available for 3rd party developers
- You'll be able to share workouts and challenges on social media
- Lots of improvements to the UI

Well tell that to them, not us.
