10 years a big gift but unfortunately I'm 60/69 :?
jackarabit wrote:Paolo, have you been erging for less than a year? You, sir, are an erg demon!
Better say an erg smurf :)

Yes I've been erging for a year and lost more or less 12 Kg in the journey, from 76 Kg to 63.5 now. I needed. I fell really a new person today.

Paolo, if you go 7:32/2k you will no doubt feel rejuvenated! You're in the sweet spot for 60-69 and climbing toward top ten places! Jack

I believe Nawth Kalina is GMT - 5, right Glenn? Doesn't matter. If we all manage to report our workouts in a 36-48 hour window, it will work fine. On my mark, synchronize sundials, roosters, coffee makers, traffic noise, flight times!

Well, unfortunately I won´t make it. Even if I would miraculously feel better by Nov. 14th, I would crash and burn with a 8x500m..... :? But fortunately plenty ergateers are joining the party so there are going to be enough Progress reports to shuffle through. And I hopefully can join later.

Did w1d6 today for 8k meters.

36:31 which is about 1 minute 30 seconds faster than I did it earlier in the week and felt good and not pushing it. Hr was average 143. Nice feeling that i am starting to get into erg shape.

Below is my garmin connect link as I am trying my wife's watch out on my account to see what it looks like.

Yep Jack, I am going to wait until the stars and my chakra are in alignment before I proceed, which may be at 11:00 AM, or 2:00 PM. One can't rush these things.

Right now he will be plenty better, no money in it for me. I will need a weeek of UT-work to get my HR back into control which right now is running like a lumpy car engine from the 70s. But hey, you said so yourself: I will be back.

W2D5
Hard distance 5k
Df109
1500WP, 1k CD
2:17.1 av.
Av. HR 150bpm (81% HRR)

Unfocused! Splits ranged from 2:11.3 to 2:20 back to 2:12. No comfortable/sustainable pace. The day is sufficient to the evil thereof. :(

Fly, fade, and recover. The tough way to go. That early soaring seems to be an ingrained habit that is hard to erase.

Question for the html adepts, Dean and Eric. I like your scrolling boxes for unwieldy bits such as RowPro row report. I tried book ending a few letters and carriage returns with code/code

Code: Select all

A
B
C
D
A
B
C
D
E
F
G
H
E
F
G
H
I
Jack
K
L
I
J
K
L

and got rudimentary vertical scrolling. Can you point me at a link to a simple scroll box tutorial for dummies and/or fill in the blanks boilerplate that copies snips to this formatting miracle? Is it as simple as Copy Paste? I have small Latin and less Geek. Live long and ROW!
