VO2 calculator for Skierg?

Post by dcpattie » March 28th, 2015, 8:23 am

I found the VO2 calculator for the rowing ergometer but was wondering if such a calculator also exists for the skierg? I do not believe its a one-to-one conversion as skierg times tend to be a fair amount slower (even when comparing elites).

Also, does anyone know of an existing VO2 max protocol (for the skierg) utilized by universities, training centers, or national teams?

Thanks,
Dave in Northern VA

I think a good wag for the Skierg is about ~ 15-20sec per 500M slower that the rower.

Update, I think the skierg is more like 10-13 sec per 500M slower than the rower.
