I mounted the top of my Skierg like this, using 11 and 7 inch blocks of plywood on each side.
The 11" blocks were attached with 3.5" lag bolts, and the 7" blocks were attached with 2.5" lag bolts.
I nailed on the 1/4 inch pieces of wood later to make up for not using the Concept2 plastic pieces at the bottom.
If the studs are not close to 16 inches apart then you can use a cross piece at the top instead of the 7 inch blocks.
I drilled all holes in the blocks before attaching them to the wall.
Tee nuts are best for attaching the Skierg to the blocks to make periodic moving much easier.
I did almost the same at the bottom, first using 7 inch blocks with 3.5 inch lag bolts, then a 19 inch cross piece.
The last perpendicular blocks can be whatever the distance is from the top of the cross piece to the floor, 6 inches in the photo.
Regular screws were used instead of lag bolts when necessary due to location. Make sure when drilling that the outer holes allow
the outer diameter of the screws so they can be tapped through, and the anchor holes should allow the inner diameter of the screws.
