Day 16 of the Challenge ....and the Lunies are rock'n (to quote Thor)...
3 Free Spirits Virtual Club 7,816,024
4 LUNA-TICS Virtual Club 7,747,103 .... less than 70K separates third and fourth on the virtual podium....
Now that Tombeur has introduced/reminded us that palindromes are an important part of wordplay, we will start seeing them everywhere. Good fun...and I will point out, of course, that stats is a palindrome, too. Expect that I will "miss" noting the number sequences that correspond to letters and that those letters might form a palindrome. I am not always awake enough to catch these, but I will try.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Congratulations Robyn and Jay. Sorry Robyn that the Cubs knocked the Giants out of playoffs but you have won 3 series in 6years. We haven't won since 1908 or even been there since 1945.
Thor, Jay and I bleed Cubbie blue and hope to face the jays in the world series, and WIN

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
The Chicago metropolitan area has been my adopted home since 1968, though I grew up in Metuchen, NJ rooting for the NY Giants and was not unhappy with their 3 Championships in the last six years as the San Francisco Giants. I am now a Red Sox fan and would have been delighted to see the Red Sox go for another World Series victory, but that obviously is not happening this year. So, I am joining the rest of the family and hoping for a victory for the Cubs. Tombeurbrotherjim wrote:Congratulations Robyn and Jay.
