The water may be lovely, but I'm still recovering from the flu, and from a little surgery.

Hopefully we were all busy doing a RUGBY TEST and getting a good time.

If not, then hopefully you were trying to decide on a MILE vs 10K vs something else for the April CTC.

I wasn't. I was busy trying to find a new job and working on my new web site. I even updated my blog!

No, and no. I have had one interview (in Bolton), but have yet to hear. Whether that's good or bad, I don't know. I'm assuming it's bad. I have an interview tomorrow at an ISP in Manchester, but beyond that, nothing.

I haven't touched the rower for about 4 weeks, I think. I'm reluctant, because I don't want to be out of breath when I have to take calls from prospective employers. =)

Good Job!
Congrats to Krysta on her Gold Medal, and I have to add that Her picture may have been just a bit more attractive for that article, what was that editor thinking?

Hi all!
It's been odd not having the forum available, but it's not so bad to have a lot of old stuff cleared off!

Still on vacation in VT, rowing in a too hot gym--I'm just doing 10K or 60 min rows with lots of stops for water, working on technique. The hot tub here is great for afterwards, today we were out there in the hot tub with snow falling on our heads. I'm running up to C2 tomorrow to pick up an erg that was used at the Crash-B's for my boss--they have a very few for a really good price if you pick them up, no boxes available.

3 more days of rowing, practicing, and lolling around, and then back to real life!

Good luck on the job search, Daren.
