Whoop, whoop and hooyah! It is indeed the Year of the Sheep, as some will remember, and Norma is making the most of it by adding to her flock often. Congratulations, Norma, on achieving a ONE million meter season! We wish you many, MANY more!!

Norma, Norma, Norma ... What, know ones chanting with me. I tried doing the wave but no one joined me in that either. A hero for sure. Many more my Luna friend.
Ever try doing the wave by yourself? There's lots of leaning and stuff. Sort of dangerous too. Um, I think I'll go back to my hammer now.
Love Thor.

Love to see these kinds of postings - because the goal here is always to make the Challenges fun, to encourage and to celebrate all kinds of victories. It's fun for the whole team to watch a teammate achieve a goal or get past what was thought to be an insurmountable obstacle...

Looking forward to the fall team challenge, I just signed up. I will be training this weekend on a different kind of 2k, and hoping for a personal best of under 40 minutes. This 2k is a bit more vertical though, it runs up 2000 ft in elevation in 1 mile distance, I've heard 2000 -2700 steps (never counted). The Manitou incline will test your endurance, and I recommend anyone visiting colorado, to make this a stopping point.
http://www.pikes-peak.com/want-climb-manitou-incline/ wish me luck, I'm really looking forward to hitting it Saturday morning.

Wow! I don't know if I ever had that kind of endurance. It would be fun to try though. Best of luck Doug and let us know how it goes.

Get your picture taken at the top of the hill - it will be a great team photo. And you are definitely on the right team, you crazy guy! I prefer the Cog Railway to get up that kind of incline....

Wow, the milestones are sure coming fast and furious. Congratulations on all the milestones.
Jim, hope all is going well with your recovery.
With inclines up to 68%, I was looking for the Manitou Net. If you see a bunch of people dressed up like dominoes, DON'T get behind them.

Ok...Start of a new month and a new challenge, so I hope that with those 2 factors I can get back in the habit of a daily forum check in...and a daily row. I am trying something new. Trying to climb my way up the rankings for the 2000 meter distance. I really want to do the Seattle indoor regatta this coming year. I have never before started preparing for it early enough to justify the expense of the trip. Is anyone else on the Luna-Tics team thinking about trying a CRASH-B this season?

In Italy with the family for two weeks. So no meters from Me unfortunately. No doubt I will have to pay for it on my return. But working off the pizza and refine could also be fun. Riiiight?
