nothing that exciting - i was interested in finding out what my 2k time was - it was a distance that i had never tried before - so i changed my training plan:
started off with a slow and easy 2 k to stretch the muscles then a speedy one

7:07 for my first attempt - not too shaby for an "old" man

the rest was 5x1000m with a few rest meters to get the dog days finished :)
HM is tomorrow - im working from home :)

i must admit being part of the affiliation and having my own machine my monthly average has gone up to 50-80k to a whopping 230k (uptil now) this month...
thanks to the whole gang for making it fun :)

Congratulations Richard and Michelle !!!
And nice 2K, Dean !!!

Give the dog a bone ... As soon as I hear that, I immediately remember this joke:
A frog walks into a bank and says "I wanna loan."
"Well Mr.. frog, go over there to Ms. Whack's desk, she is the loan manager, I'm sure she will be happy to talk to you," the head desk says.
The frog hops over to Ms. Patty Whack's desk and says, "I wanna loan."
Ms. Whack says, "Well Mr. Frog, we will have to get some paperwork for you to sign, so if you will wait right here..." At this point the frog pulls out of his knapsack a golden disk and hands it over to her.
She asks, confused, "What is this?"
The frog croaks back, "I wanna loan." She rubs her head, and walks back to her boss and says, "I don't get it, a frog hops in here wanting a loan, and gives me this golden disk. Do you know what it is?"
The boss laughs and says, "It's a knick-knack Patty Whack, give the frog a loan!"

Nice job on the 230K! Man, you will be kicking my butt on that soon too.
Well you kicked my lazy butt on the 2K. Um, by quite a bit I think. I can't quite remember my time off the top of my head. Maybe around 7:50 something. Yep, lots of work to be done.
I agree about what you said. This team is so great. I check the stats page every day at least once. I love watching the numbers go up and tracking the challenges when I can. So many have shown me what can be done. I have my rabbits I like to follow. I missed 4 weeks so I may not catch them but I can remain a certain amount behind them. Grin.
Have fun Dean and a big thanks to the Luna Tics.
