Ah...I did look at that number, just not long enough! Fibonacci numbers are very fun...my 5 AM brain just wasn't geared up for them yesterday. And Minnie goes and finds the Fibonacci pigeons...! Good ones!bisqeet wrote:i was trying to be clever all those palindromes -Kona2 wrote:...

Week 4....and it's a 40K meter payment to finish!
There I was, deep in rattlesnake country as Minnie would (and did) say. These paths are part of the open range around Boulder, and there are a few batches of cows here and there. I'm not a fast rider, and am just learning how to best navigate all the mini-boulders I encounter on some of the local paths. We are geographically high desert, and there has been much rain. This brings new height to the ever-present weeds - and at this time of year, the thistles/nettles/cat tails or whatever they are, happen to be about arm height on most riders. One trek through about 50 yards of this stuff, and I was ready to return home to the relative safety of my (maraudering Jesse the cat notwithstanding) rowing machine to get my workout done. These are not the paths you think of with Colorado - but many are just like this in the Boulder area. The fun thing for me besides not falling off the bike, is that many of the coal mines that the region is famous for were located in this area. You can still see the foundations of some of the mines that were part of Colorado's mining history. No kidding about the rattlesnakes - a rider was bitten last week in an area near Golden.

Yep, right in the middle of the stats posting! Must be the day for phrases to send me down the bunny trails of the mind ! The phrase "at sixes and sevens" is one you might have heard, but what does it mean?! Some say it means in a state of confusion and disarray, and others say it means in a state of conflict... there are a few more meanings attributed to it, including the meaning to take a great risk! Nothing is very simple in this world after all.
And later in the stats posting, there's a three-six-nine palindrome....and that phrase pops right over into one of the clapping songs...369, the goose drank wine...funny what I remember...
Btw, I read recently in a bit about Navy SEALS that self-talk (aka bunny trails going on in YOUR mind) consists of anywhere from 300 - 1000 words a minute....wowzer....that could be a TON of bunny trails...
