Hey guys thanks again for the 1MM mention.Kona2 wrote:brianacp wrote:
Ha ha! I'm still in, Thor MW. I finished week 1 and 2. I'm on target for week 3. I'm not sure about week 4, as a newbie. But I am excited that I will hit 100k m during the challenge.
And, you're really working up to some bigger meter distances, too! Well done!
Christmas? Nah, following the team and members is much more important to me. I think it was Danwho who put the finger to his lips. shhhh. haha Keeping secrets is important but I think ernie and Bert taught us to share too. Oscar the grouch on the other hand … Now he was cool.
Have fun and happy meters all.
Well, today is my day off of training but a nice easy few meters shouldn't hurt ... mucvh.

Dog Days of Summmrrr Challenge - Week 3
We still have a couple more days left to complete the 30K that Week 3 requires - and to continue to building our base towards completing week 4. Some good meter numbers being posted during this Challenge! Of course, ALL meter numbers are good! Welcome back to Jeff D and Tim G! Always good to see returning teammates on the roster!
Snoopy might be one of the most recognized virtual dogs in the world, perhaps beating out Lassie and Rin Tin Tin in his ability to bridge all the generations. Still, there are some good fictionalized dogs out there for our reader ergers. One of my favorites is the Chet and Bernie mystery series by Spencer Quinn. Chet is the canine narrator, and Bernie is a private eye. The first in the series is Dog On It, and there are other memorable titles such as Thereby Hangs A Tail, and The Sound and the Furry. The latest one is Paw and Order. While the titles might sound a bit too too, the series is consistently rated with four stars by Goodreads. Give it a try on a dog day of summer!

A Fistful of Collars I can hear the flute now.
Love the Snoopy theme.
Before someone lets the cat out of the bag, I'll fess up. I'm still in the Dog Daze challenge ...
But I am trying to pace myself.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
These are very fun books; I particularly liked the one with the circus elephant. Mr. Quinn speaks "dog" fluently, and his mysteries are good light reading. They're also a nice balance for all those other dog books which reduce me to tears by tale/tail's end. (As do Laurie's FB posts about rescue dogs!)Drivetofast wrote:I have read them all thanks to K2. are you chatting about the books????
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
There was some talk of a Chet and Bernie movie. (But, they probably wanted to cast Tom Cruise as Bernie and ruined it completely; shades of Jack Reacher, epic fail.) I just discovered you can LIKE Bernie on Facebook ... too funny ...bg wrote:are you chatting about the books????Drivetofast wrote:Bernie is in the Hospital Get well soon Bernie K2 you got me hooked on this
