PM5 and Garmin 910xt

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this has been posted already. I did a search and did not have any luck. Has anyone been able to connect their garmin 910xt to a PM5 head unit? I've turned on fitness devices on my garmin but the PM5 does not find it. Any suggestions?

Hi!! It's easy. I have done it many times and I even sold my 920Xt and bought a 910XT

Just bought a Garmin chest strap for my PM4 and its an easy connect as above, just wear the strap and use the menus and the PM4 just finds it and you can connect or also save the strap so it just connects automatically.

Had to move away from Polar as we have two ergs in the same room and cannot get enough separation. One Polar and one Garmin is fine.

No Idea about the PM5, should be just as easy.

The PM4 does both ANT and ANT+

I'm not an expert, but.
Ant + is for connecting chestbelt and PM
Ant FE is for connecting clock to PM (FE = Fitness equipment)

If you are running an early firmware below 17, you need to update the firmware to connect the clock to the PM.

On PM5, you should go to More Options-> Turn Wireless On (bluetooth) -> Connect With Ant FE.

I allways connect chestbelt to clock first.
Then chest belt to monitor
and Last Clock to monitor
