Wow - you've been checking the Challenges out! I know this one was not on the Challenge list last week...so thanks for bringing it to the team's notice. 100 meters seems like an eye blink for many of you. The one minute one will be fun. I'm in!
Summer Super Sprints
July 12–July 19
To mark the introduction of the new 100m and one-minute ranking categories, we've decided to celebrate with a one-off Sprint Challenge for 2015! Simply row or ski both of these between July 12 and July 19 to appear on the challenge honor board. You can do either piece as often as you'd like and your fastest piece will automatically appear on the honor board. Don't forget to rank your best pieces as well if you want to appear on the Concept2 Rankings!
The Details
Row or ski a 100 meter and one minute piece between July 12 and July 19.
All pieces should be single distance/single time workouts, i.e. not as part of a set of intervals.
This is an individual challenge. (You do not need to belong to a team to participate.)
Meters must be entered online.
Indoor rower and SkiErg meters only (no on water/on snow meters please).

You got it! Thirteen colonies, thirteen stripes. Actually, there are a lot of 13's from around that time - especially from Benjamin Franklin. Those devilish Freemasons. Anyway. thought it made for an interesting twist on the '76 theme. And it saved me 4000 meters at a time when I was in danger of being accused of slacking on the chores I needed to complete before company came.Kona2 wrote:...thirteen states...1776? On the subject of the 13 original states: In a thrift store a couple of weeks ago I was looking at a children's book about U.S. history. They listed the the thirteen original states with Vermont and Maine included and North and South Carolina left out Go figure I hope everyone had a happy Independence Daydanwho wrote:You got it!
