All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 6.1.15
A little less than two weeks before the June Solstice Challenge arrives...and looks like many of our teammates are building a good meter base to make a run at this half moon event! Welcome back to Katerina M and Bernie, the ultimate PINK fan! Always good to see returning teammates!
Meanwhile, speaking of moons, what an awesome full moon last night. I was able to see this spectacular moon many times from the third base side of the Coors Field stadium....as I watched homer after homer hit by the Dodgers go flying sky high....endure...endure...a bright spot, though, was Sharknado (the nickname for Nolan Arenado, the Rox third baseman) hitting a two run blast to tie up the game early on...before the Dodgers endurance was more than the Rockies....sigh. As the title said...Underneath a Baseball Moon....

Late getting to the stats numbers for the day (now day plus most of another day), so the numbers might be different than you expect. Forgive the lack of graphics - I don't have the time to do that bit today. And welcome back to Teresa R for the 2016 Erging Season!

As if the lightning flashes and what seemed like sonic booms weren't enough warning, the weather radio decided to add its siren to the night. We'd already had hail, had been on tornado watch through most of the day and evening...and dang if the skies didn't continue to open up. The digital voice of the weather radio informed us we were having severe thunderstorms ... at 2 AM. Well, at least it didn't say run for the basement. Hooboy. Enough to make a person bleary eyed for all the wrong reasons.
Belmont stakes....last jewel in the Triple Crown of horse racing... is this Saturday
Three races in five weeks...varying distances...and competitors who may not have raced in the two previous races....horses that are bred more for speed than distance these days...add it all up, and it will still be a fast and furious 2 minutes and change on Saturday at the 89th running of the Belmont Stakes. American Pharaoh is still listed as the favorite, yet there are sure horses out there that could beat AP. You pays your money, and you takes your chances!

Are you still in Kansas, Dorothy? You guys are getting another series of severe storms ... tornados? Yikes! (Basement's all very well, as long as there's no flash flooding in the forecast!) Meanwhile, a thousand miles to your west, the relentless drought continues.Kona2 wrote: As if the lightning flashes and what seemed like sonic booms weren't enough warning, the weather radio decided to add its siren to the night.
