All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 5.3.15

Image Day Four Dawns.....May the Fourth Be With You!

Yep, today is Star Wars Day...and it's a great time for any Lunie to complete the Global Marathon Challenge - although we might lobby for the Challenge to be called the Galactic Marathon Challenge! Before I roll out the stats for the day, in keeping with the Star Wars Day theme, here's a link to our local news affiliate's home page. Take the "What Star Wars Character Are YOU?" quiz... it's not long, is quirky enough to be fun. I was surprised that I am Yoda....with the advice given that I should be less cryptic! Ha! http://www.9news.com/story/entertainmen ... /26709645/

Welcome to the 2016 season to Richard T, Christa, Minnie and AJ, Teresa G, Rebecca, Lily and Rich M...and any that I might have inadvertently missed! It's always good to see returning teammates. And, as per usual, Peter H has taught me something. I always thought that you had to enter actual meters to get on the roster for the season. Peter H has shown me that you can enter a Zero, and that will put you on the roster (but I am assuming you have to do this manually). Clever man.

Oh man, I got Jar Jar Binks. While looking at some Jar Jar Binks quotes, I stumbled on a page of famous quotes re-crafted as if Jar Jar said them. So I will close with:
"Mesa tinks so mesa bein!"

relax K2 have fun, work your way to the 19th hole. Numbers can and will wait.
I did hang a half moon this morning. The full moon was hung but in a different way. I live on the ground floor here. I always wonder just what people can see when they walk by. I mean to they know more about me than they would ever wanted to? Or, wanted to and now know? Hmm. hahahahaha
The half marathon was a more respectable time than the full moon. Just under 1 hour and 45 minutes. I might do some more of them. I did a 30 minute piece last night and beat my PB. so getting things going today was slow. I didn't have power for a day and a half. I had to row something yesterday. I decided that 30 minutes would be enough given the time of day. I told enough people that I would try the Half moon today and I try to keep my word.
Have fun to all and to all a happy piece.
Love thor.

Just staggered through a 4:25:32 marathon, not sure whether I will ever do that again. Good news is I'm #1 in my age group 70-79. To be honest I am the only one in my age group. Well anyway it's done. Have a nice vacation K2.

Very impressive Danno. I hope at your age I can pull up my socks much less pull a marathon. hero! I say Hero! Thank you for sharing your feat.
I will do another one sometime but not for a while. Grin.

Amazing, Danno! You'll do another one - although you might consider the thought of rowing a few half marathons during the time period preceeding the full marathon. I know that I don't follow that rule set myself.... , but Concept2 does recommend that we don't just jump into it (especially if we are not 16 like Tristan. That being said, YOU keep amazing us with your determination to complete things.

I'm never quite sure what happens some days, but you just get in the groove.
Friday I did the most meters in an hour, by far, that I've done in 14 years! 15354

Sunday I actually set a PB in the FM! 2:54:37.4.
63 y / 70 kg / 172 cm / 5 kids / 17 grandkids :)
