Dwayne is much better than me (on paper!!) so doing one at a slower 2k+ should be easy for him.

It would also equate to 3 second faster than Matthew Pinsents 5k British record for 30-39 year olds.

That would be quite a Row

I think he meant that since Dwayne was rowing with another guy whose skill is unknown (to him, Stupe), he could not tell how much of the quality of the performance (or lack thereof) was attributable to Dwayne or the other guy.
I believe you were mistaken, regardless of what Stupefication's opinion of womens thighs is, of which I know or care nothing, unless he has pictures.
Now, don't you owe it to those of us who are mired in moral depravity and look to you for guidance to admit your mistake?

Okay, that's just a joke - no need to print another sermon, please! :P

It went:

* 1/4/3/4/2/4/3/4 - the Levels of workouts, in this order. I wanted much more endurance work, thus the progression ... lots of L4 and L3, with only a smattering of speed work, to keep it interesting.

* I did them in this order, even if I missed a day ... I just kept the order

* Missing a day might have been a day off, but most likely was just a long, continuous, slow row because I didn't have the energy or motivation to do the planned workout

* Make sure you're having fun doing these ... if not, take a day and do a workout of your choice ... for FUN

This seemed to work for me. After a while, positive addiction set in, and I would be jazzed about hitting the next workout and its associated target.

Now, I'm no champion, so this will not make you world class, but I believe it's a sound way to get started.

Regards ... Mark
